Vista 1 is a true compact Studer at an affordable price, it is a single unit with control surface, I/O and digital signal processor. The new mixer is great for broadcasting news and various TV shows, compatible with touring and stationary sound systems, and its compact size is a strong characteristic when choosing a mixer for broadcast mobile studios and video journalism.
Vista 1 is based on the Vista 5 mixer, so Vista fans will enjoy the ease of use of the Vistonics interface and Studer Vista control surface, as well as the features: full broadcast monitoring, two-way communication, red light control, GPIO, N-x buses (mix-minus), automation frame and DAW control.
With a built-in 96-channel digital signal processor, the Vista 1 can easily handle mono, stereo and 5.1 inputs. It has 32 mic/line inputs, 32 line outputs, and eight stereo inputs and AES outputs on the rear panel. There are models with 32 and 22 motorized faders.
Inputs and outputs can be expanded via a standard Studer D21m slot on the rear panel, allowing for MADI, AES, AoIP, ADAT, TDIF, CobraNet, Dolby E/Digital, SDI and more. A MADI module can be connected to the Studer Stagebox to provide XLR connections and other formats.
A novelty of Vista 1 is an integrated player of melodies that are played from audio files on USB (advertising melodies or background effects) and controlled by eight special keys on the master section of the mixer.
Important is the support for the Harman HiQNet program, which allows you to control other devices, such as Crown amplifiers and AKG wireless microphone systems from Harman Professional. The online/offline editor makes it possible to create programs outside of the mixing console and then import them directly to the console.
The Studer Vista 1 also features a redundant power supply and RELINK integration with other Studer Vista and OnAir mixers, meaning the Vista 1 can easily receive/transmit signals across a network of mixers.
Other new features from Studer include the new Vista Compact remote docking station, the Lexicon FX processor, the optional MT7 RTW meter for Vista mixers, the EMBER broadcast and news auto-control protocol, and the Livewire AoIP card for the D21m system.
The Vista Compact Remote Dock is designed as a second mixing console for use with all Vista consoles, including the Vista 1. Compact in size, with a 19″ monitor, 12 motorized faders and 40 potentiometers, a touch screen and slide keyboard, it allows remotely manage monitoring and mixes in mobile studios, theaters, concert halls.
