What confetti cannons exist?

A machine is a blizzard: the stream lasts for minutes, confetti swirls across the dance floor. A cannon is a shot: a dense blast in a second with a dramatic sound, perfect for the finale's first chord; reloading between blasts. Big shows combine them: machines hold the background, cannons hit the climaxes.
Paper or metallic?
Paper confetti swirls slowly for 10–15 seconds, is biodegradable and the cheapest; choose flameproof — a venue requirement. Metallic (metafan) sparkles in the beams like golden rain, falls faster and costs more. They are often mixed: paper + metafan in one blast. Streamers are long ribbons in arcs.
Are the cannons safe?
Yes, with the rules: fire upwards at 40–60°, keep 2–3 m to the audience for poppers and 5+ m for powerful cannons, use flameproof confetti, keep CO2 cylinders upright per the instructions. Metallic is slippery on a wet floor — mind the dance floor. Poppers for children — only under supervision.
How much confetti to take?
A popper is a ready charge for a 20–40 m² zone; for a wedding finale — 4–8 fired together. A machine: a 0.5–1 kg load = 30–90 s of stream, 2–5 kg per evening. A CO2 blast — 0.5–1.5 kg. Take a +30–50% reserve: there are always more climaxes than planned.
How to fire exactly on cue?
DMX (1–2 channels) — the blast is programmed into the show cues with the strobes and flies on the first chord. Simpler — a remote or radio fob with the host. Poppers — mechanically, with a rehearsed countdown. Placement: along the stage front or the floor's corners at 45° upward.
How much do the cannons cost?
Poppers are the most affordable entry, individually or by the box. Electric machines with a remote are moderate, professional DMX turbines — the mid bracket. CO2 systems — the upper niche. Consumables separately: paper is cheapest, metallic dearer. Check prices with our manager.
