Compact mixing console with USB audio interface
Microphone pre-D-Pre
Yamaha D-Pre microphone preamps MG consoles
The new MG Series mixing consoles are equipped with high-quality studio-grade Class A discrete D-PRE preamps designed by Yamaha.
The preamps work according to the inverse Darlington circuit, which consists of two transistors connected in series, and ultimately provides an increased signal level at a lower impedance. Delivering natural fat bass and smooth open highs with very low distortion, the D-PRE preamps are capable of operating over an extremely wide frequency range. Thus, this indicates the ability to easily "digest" a signal from any source without excessively "coloring" it and preserving all the nuances of its original waveform.
Having such a "clean" linear sound platform will save you time, eliminate unnecessary equalization and effects processing, which is often necessary in order to "heal" the mix.
High-quality operational amplifiers
Yamaha D-Pre microphone preamps MG consoles
The MG series mixer consoles are equipped with a new high-quality MG01 operational amplifier, developed together with a semiconductor manufacturer specifically for this series consoles.
While most op amps focus on electrical design and efficiency, the manufacturer and I focused primarily on sound quality.
The MG01 is characterized by a redesigned electrical circuit, in which internal components and switching are optimized using high-quality silicon substrate and copper wiring for maximum sound detail.
Phantom power and discrete sensitivity reduction
Yamaha MG remote control phantom power
Equipped with the possibility of phantom power, the MG-series consoles allow you to fully enjoy the increased frequency range and high sensitivity of condenser microphones.
The input channels of the consoles allow you to connect sources of both microphone and line levels. And the PAD switch reduces the sensitivity of the input for high-level signals, which is often encountered when working with subsonic instruments during a performance. This function will avoid clipping and sound distortion.
