The 25.7 kp total is a real load, and it explains the character of Präzision: high tension stops the string from wandering, so tuning holds and the sound stays focused even under a hard bow. The ladder is laid out evenly — 7.8 kp on the E, 6.5 on the A, 5.9 on the D, 5.5 on the G — with small steps between neighbours, so crossing strings does not change what the left hand has to press. All four strings use a crimp ball end, and the ball metals differ: nickel on E and G, brass on A, copper on D.
