CBT and installation accessories
JBL describes CBT 70JE-1 as an extension for CBT 70J-1. Do not select it as a universal standalone loudspeaker. For VRX frames, check supported systems, permitted configurations and rigging documentation; component count and weight are part of the design.
Exact part number and compatibility
For replacement or expansion, provide the complete speaker model, generation and component part number. Similar appearance or matching diameter does not guarantee compatibility. Check the official supported-system list and package contents.
Mechanical and electrical requirements
Select a driver by mounting dimensions, impedance and suitability for the enclosure; choose hardware by mounting system and permitted load. Select a line attenuator by line type and connected loudspeaker power.
Replacement in an existing system
Identify the fault or limitation before ordering a part. A higher-powered replacement driver does not automatically improve a speaker: enclosure, filters and amplification must work together. Follow the system documentation for servicing.
