Electronic drum pads and pad sets
Drum and cymbal pads, multi-pads, triggers and expansion sets
Pads are the striking surfaces of electronic drums: a hit is sensed by a trigger and sent to the drum module. At SoundsGood — mesh drum pads, cymbal pads, standalone multi-pads (sample pads) like Roland SPD and Octapad, triggers for acoustic drums and expansion sets for a kit. Pads are bought to expand a setup, replace worn parts or as a separate percussion instrument. Brands Roland, Yamaha, Alesis. Genuine parts with a warranty, delivery across Ukraine; we'll suggest a pad for your module.

🧩 Types of pad
🥁 Drum pads
Mesh or rubber pads for the snare and toms. Mesh is more realistic and quieter; multi-zone ones respond to head and rim.
🔔 Cymbal pads
Hi-hat, crash and ride — often multi-zone, with hand choke. For expanding or replacing in a kit.
🎛️ Multi-pads (sample pads)
Standalone devices with sound and sample banks (Roland SPD, Octapad, Alesis Strike) — for percussion, triggering and beatmaking.
🔻 Triggers and practice pads
Triggers for acoustic drums add electronic sounds; silent practice pads are for working on technique without a module.
🎯 How to choose a pad
🔗 Module compatibility
Check the trigger type, the connector and the module's free inputs. Pads of your 'own' brand work best, but many are compatible across systems.
🕸️ Mesh or rubber
For drums, mesh is better (more realistic and quieter); for cymbals, dedicated cymbal pads. Rubber is the simpler, cheaper option.
🔢 Number of zones
Multi-zone pads (head/rim/bell) give more expressive playing and more articulations than single-zone. It depends on the module's capabilities.
🎛️ Multi-pad for samples
If you need your own sounds, loops and percussion — choose a multi-pad with sample loading and the right number of zones.
🔻 Trigger for acoustic
To combine live drums with electronics, add clip-on triggers to the kick, snare or toms and connect them to the module.
🛡️ Genuine and warranty
Choose genuine pads compatible with your kit. We'll suggest items for Roland, Yamaha or Alesis and your module.

❓ Frequently asked questions
What are drum pads?
The surfaces the drummer strikes: drum pads, cymbal pads and multi-pads. A hit is sensed by a trigger and sent to the drum module. They come mesh and rubber, single- and multi-zone. Bought to expand, replace or as a separate instrument.
Is a pad compatible with my module?
It depends on the trigger type, connector (usually a TRS jack), number of zones and module. Pads of your 'own' brand work best, but many are compatible across systems. A free input is needed. Write the model — we'll suggest.
What is a multi-pad (sample pad)?
A standalone device with zones and built-in sounds and samples (Roland SPD-SX, Octapad, Alesis Strike). For percussion, firing samples on stage and beatmaking. Many models let you load your own sounds.
Mesh or rubber pad?
Mesh is more realistic and quieter — better for drums; rubber is simpler and cheaper. For cymbals, dedicated cymbal pads are usual. We'll suggest by budget and module.
What is a trigger for acoustic drums?
A sensor (such as Roland RT) that attaches to an acoustic drum and senses hits, sending a signal to the module. Adds electronic sounds or samples to live drums. Comes for the kick, snare and toms.
Can you expand a kit?
Yes, if the module has free inputs for pads and cymbals. You can add a tom, cymbal or percussion pad. The number depends on the module's class. Check for free trigger inputs.
What is a practice pad?
A silent rubber or silicone surface for working on technique and rudiments without sound and a module. It's not electronic, compact, handy on the road and for quiet practice. We have various sizes.
Which brands and where to buy?
Drum and cymbal pads, multi-pads and triggers from Roland, Yamaha, Alesis, expansion sets and practice pads. Selection by module compatibility. Delivery across Ukraine; pickup in Kyiv. Phone +380 (73) 060 01 01.
