PRS SE Studio Standard (Pearl White). The SE Studio Standard combines a mahogany body with a bolt-on maple Wide Thin neck. A 58/15 LT “S” bridge humbucker is joined by Narrowfield DD “S” pickups in the middle and neck positions. This gives an arrangement several different starting points, from fuller riffs to defined accompaniment. The flat top, 22-fret fingerboard and PRS tremolo complete a guitar designed around useful sound changes and accessible controls.

The layout uses a master volume, a push/pull tone knob and a five-way blade selector. The push/pull changes the bridge 58/15 LT “S” pickup’s mode in positions where that pickup is active. The middle and neck Narrowfields remain a separate part of the model’s sound. For layered recording, compare the full bridge sound with the combined positions; changing the guitar’s pickup selection can help separate parts before making large EQ changes.
