🇸🇪 About 2box: Sweden, ddrum Heritage and a Sound Revolution
2box was founded in 2007 in Stockholm by engineer Bengt Lilja together with lead developer Rik van der Brugghen. Both had previously worked at Clavia, where they created the legendary ddrum 4 digital drum system — one of the most successful e-drum platforms of its era.

After the ddrum brand was sold to Armadillo Enterprises in 2005, the team decided to start fresh. In 2008, at the NAMM show, 2box unveiled its debut product — the DrumIt Five — which stunned the industry with its open sound architecture and incredibly realistic samples.
