The D'Addario PW-HTS Humidity & Temperature Sensor is a compact digital hygrometer and thermometer that shows the real climate inside your case or music room. Relative humidity reads from 20 to 99%, and temperature from −35 to 50 °C or in Fahrenheit. Humidity and Temperature at a Glance
Dry wood means cracks, warped necks and string buzz — and you can't see it coming without a meter. The PW-HTS shows relative humidity and temperature together, and displays "Lo" when humidity drops below 20%. Accuracy is in line with the industry standard of ±5% — enough to catch dangerous changes in time.
Set Point and High/Low Memory
Set a minimum humidity level (D'Addario suggests starting at 40–45%): whenever the air gets drier, a water drop icon appears — time to humidify. The memory function records the highest and lowest temperature and humidity with date and time, so you know what your instrument went through while you were away.
Clock, Calendar and Power
A built-in clock and calendar are on board, and power comes from the included CR2032 battery. The battery cover opens with a coin; when the display starts to fade, simply swap the battery. For complete control, pair the PW-HTS with a D'Addario humidifier or the Humidipak system.
