Yamaha Pacifica 112VM (Gray) — a six-string electric guitar with a HSS pickup layout, a 25.5" (648 mm) scale and 22 frets. It combines expressive vibrato hardware with coil splitting. The Gray finish complements the instrument’s distinctive proportions.
Body and construction
Body materials: Alder. The Pacifica double cutaway opens up access to the upper frets. A bolt-on neck and body contours provide a familiar electric guitar feel for seated practice and playing with a strap.
Neck, scale and frets
Neck: Maple. Fingerboard: Maple. The scale measures 25.5" (648 mm) and the fingerboard radius is 350 mm (13.75"). There are 22 Medium frets. Neck widths at the nut and 12th fret are 41.0 / 51.4 mm. These dimensions help you compare string spacing and the transition from open chords to higher lead positions.
Pickups and controls
A bridge humbucker is paired with middle and neck single-coils. The five-way selector provides individual pickups and adjacent pairs, making it easy to move between rhythm, accompaniment and lead textures.
Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone(Push-Pull Coil Split). Selector: 5-Position Lever Switch.
Pulling up the Tone control activates humbucker coil splitting. This adds a clearer alternative for clean parts and expands the available palette without changing instruments.
Bridge and tuning hardware
Bridge: Vintage Style Tremolo with Block Saddle. Tuners: Die-Cast. The tremolo adds smooth pitch movement to chords and lead phrases. Correct string installation and spring balance are important for a stable setup.
Playing applications and accessories
The humbucker and single-coil combination suits pop, funk, blues, indie and rock. Choose settings that suit your picking dynamics and playing volume. Explore guitar effects for additional textures and instrument and patch cables for connecting other equipment.
For practice and performance, choose from guitar amplifiers. Select spare strings with the factory gauge in mind: 0.009-0.042.
