Body and construction
Body materials: Flame Maple Laminated/Maple/Mahogany. The Revstar design combines a double-cutaway body with a set-in neck. Its contours accommodate rhythm and lead playing while preserving the recognisable appearance of the series.

Pickups and controls
Two humbuckers occupy the neck and bridge positions. Use them separately or together to move between a rounder neck sound and a more defined bridge attack.

The push-pull Dry Switch is a passive high-pass filter. It reduces low-frequency content for a tighter sound while retaining both humbucker coils. This function does not require a battery.
Bridge and tuning hardware
Bridge: Tune-O-Matic. Tailpiece: Bigsby B50. Tuners: Locking Die-Cast. The Bigsby B50 adds gentle vibrato to chords and melodies. Locking tuners simplify string changes and secure the strings at the tuning posts.
