A capsule for DAM+ systems
The AKG CK41 is designed for Discreet Acoustics Modular Plus microphone systems. Fit the condenser capsule to a compatible installation module chosen for the room and mounting position. It suits conferences, round table discussions, press conferences and video meetings where speech pickup and an unobtrusive microphone arrangement are required.
Cardioid speech coverage
The cardioid pattern reduces pickup from behind, while the 125° acceptance angle accommodates speakers who move moderately in front of the microphone. This coverage also suits situations where different people speak in turn. Aim the capsule towards the talker and choose its position with room acoustics and loudspeaker placement in mind.
Modular connection and powering
The slim metal housing incorporates a threaded connection and large gold-plated contacts. The CK41 fits DAM+ installation modules, including suitable goosenecks and hanging modules. Complete the signal path with a compatible power module, such as the PAE M, connected to a microphone input. Select the mounting and powering components separately for the installation.
Supplied windscreen
The capsule comes with a windscreen to reduce air noise and vocal plosives near the microphone. It complements appropriate capsule placement during close speech pickup. Once the microphone system is assembled, check the speaking distance and signal level from the normal working position. The modular arrangement lets the mounting location suit the format of the event.
