The KL-805 is a synthetic leather ligature with 3 interchangeable gaskets and a hex key for flexible tonal adjustment. The KL-845 is a silver alloy brass cage-style ligature. The KL-905 is synthetic leather with a brass plate featuring two longitudinal rails and single-screw fastening — delivering a bright tone and wide dynamic range without additional adjustment.

What do the two longitudinal rails do?

The two longitudinal rails distribute pressure evenly along the sides of the reed while leaving its central area free to vibrate. This promotes a bright, projecting tone with a wide dynamic range.

Can the KL-905 be used on a saxophone?

No. KL-90 series ligatures are not interchangeable — the KL-905 is sized exclusively for clarinet mouthpieces. For saxophone, use the corresponding models KL-901 through KL-904.

Natural wear of strings, rosin and bow hair.

Items not returnable for hygiene reasons

At SoundsGood, for hygiene reasons, the following items of proper quality are generally non-returnable and non-exchangeable:

Return and exchange of goods in proper condition (14 days)

According to the law, the customer has the right to exchange or return goods of proper quality within 14 calendar days, provided they have not been used and the commercial appearance is preserved.

The instrument has no signs of use (scratches, scuffs, dents).
Electronic devices have no traces of installation or self-repair, protective films are preserved.
Original packaging is preserved in a condition suitable for resale.
A sales document (invoice/receipt) is provided.

Warranty repair: terms and procedure

The seller is obliged to eliminate defects within 14 days from the date of the claim, unless another period is agreed with the customer in writing.
