Which instruments is the V511 suitable for?

The V511 is designed for brass instruments with Périnet (piston) valves — trumpet, cornet, flugelhorn, tenor horn and others. It is not intended for rotary valves or woodwind key mechanics.

How do I apply the V511 oil?

Pull the valve halfway out, apply a few drops of oil to the piston, then return the valve to its position. Work the valve up and down several times to distribute the oil evenly. Repeat for each valve separately.

How does the V511 differ from the H311?

The H311 is formulated for woodwind key mechanics (saxophone, clarinet, flute): axles, screws and springs. The V511 is formulated for Périnet piston valves of brass instruments (trumpet, cornet). Each is designed for its specific type of mechanics and the two are not interchangeable.

How often should I oil the valves?

With regular playing, oiling the valves every few days to once a week is generally recommended. The V511's long-term effect means you may need to reapply less frequently than with standard valve oils.

Natural wear of strings, rosin and bow hair.

Items not returnable for hygiene reasons

At SoundsGood, for hygiene reasons, the following items of proper quality are generally non-returnable and non-exchangeable:

Return and exchange of goods in proper condition (14 days)

According to the law, the customer has the right to exchange or return goods of proper quality within 14 calendar days, provided they have not been used and the commercial appearance is preserved.

The instrument has no signs of use (scratches, scuffs, dents).
Electronic devices have no traces of installation or self-repair, protective films are preserved.
Original packaging is preserved in a condition suitable for resale.
A sales document (invoice/receipt) is provided.

Warranty repair: terms and procedure

The seller is obliged to eliminate defects within 14 days from the date of the claim, unless another period is agreed with the customer in writing.
