Wireless voice system
Alpha Audio MIC one True WL is a UHF True Diversity microphone system comprising one handheld transmitter microphone and a separate receiver. It operates at 863–865 MHz, carrying the performer’s voice to connected audio equipment. The handheld format suits singing, presentations, event hosting and passing a microphone between speakers during a shared event.
Receiver and connections
The receiver provides XLR and jack outputs for connection to a mixer or another compatible audio device. A volume control sets the output level. Its audio frequency range is 40 Hz–18 kHz. Place the receiver near your sound equipment while the performer or presenter holds the microphone during use.
Preparing the audio path
Connect the receiver to the appropriate input and begin with a moderate volume setting. Check the sound using your normal performance voice, then adjust the receiver and mixer levels. This helps prepare the system for the room and loudspeakers being used. Maintain a consistent distance between the microphone and your mouth to keep speech levels even.
Power and transport
The receiver uses a 9 V external power supply. The package includes the handheld microphone, receiver, power supply and plastic transport case. The case keeps the main components together after a rehearsal or event. For audio connection, select a cable that matches the receiver output and the input of your sound equipment.
