MOOER MMT100 (Pearl White) — A two-humbucker electric guitar with 24 frets and a 25.5-inch scale for riffs and lead playing. Its American alder body is paired with a roasted maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. Coil splitting adds alternative textures to the main HH configuration.
Construction and playing feel
The neck uses a bolt-on joint. Its Standard C profile and satin back provide a familiar thumb position for chord changes and movement along the neck. A 12-inch fingerboard radius and 42 mm nut width give useful reference points when comparing the playing geometry with your current instrument.
Body material: American alder. Neck: Roasted maple; Standard C, satin finish. Fingerboard: Rosewood, with 24 nickel-silver frets.
Pickups and controls
The MMT-1N / MMT-1B pair provides neck and bridge humbucker voices. A three-way selector chooses the neck pickup, both pickups or the bridge pickup. Separate Volume and Tone controls adjust the overall output level and treble response.
A separate coil-split switch disables one humbucker coil, offering a lighter texture for rhythm parts without changing instruments. Output level and noise can differ from full humbucker operation, so compare the sounds using the same amplifier settings.
Bridge and setup
The fixed MBG-1 has no moving tremolo platform, making it a practical choice for straightforward tuning and riff playing without a vibrato arm. MTN-3L locking tuners clamp each string at the post and simplify restringing; intonation and action still need to be checked.
Where this guitar fits
The MMT100 platform suits players combining heavy riffs, bends and upper-register lead lines. Two humbuckers and 24 frets make it a useful candidate for rock, hard rock and metal, while a clean amplifier setting and coil splitting bring contrasting textures into an arrangement.
Connections and accessories
Choose an instrument cable and a guitar amplifier for amplified playing. Computer recording requires a compatible audio interface with an instrument input. Explore guitar effects to build additional sounds.
The factory string gauge is .009–.046. Browse electric guitar strings when replacements are needed. Add a strap for standing practice and a tuner for regular tuning checks. A MOOER gig bag is listed as included.
