MXR TREMOLO Tremolo Pedal
The MXR Tremolo M305 marks the return of tremolo to the MXR line with the effect's whole history in one housing: six styles, from classic tube-amp sounds to original MXR designs. Speed, Gain and Depth set rate, volume and intensity, and pushing the Gain knob cycles through the styles. For advanced players there is stereo operation, tap tempo, expression pedal control and an envelope mode that responds to your pick attack. The housing is a deep purple with gold graphics.

Six Tremolo Styles
MXR recreates the organic pulse of the beloved M159 Stereo Tremolo, Bias the lush, power-soaked compression of early-1960s tube amp tremolo, and Opto the smooth pulse of photocell circuits. Revo runs the optical waveform backwards for more exaggerated peaks and valleys, SQR delivers choppy square-wave tremolo, and Harm recreates the shimmering harmonic tremolo of rare vintage amps.
Stereo, Tap Tempo and Expression
The CTR jack and its slide switch accept an MXR Tap Tempo Switch or expression pedal, or act as a second audio output for stereo. In stereo mode the effect pans between two outputs, and an expression pedal sweeps smoothly between two sets of Gain, Speed and Depth settings. Stereo input via TRS is enabled with an internal switch.
Envelope Mode and Selectable Bypass
In Envelope mode rate and depth follow the intensity of your playing, so the tremolo breathes with your attack. Maximum rate and sensitivity are set with the Speed and Depth knobs, and the mode is remembered after power-off. By default the pedal uses relay-based true bypass, and it can be switched to buffered bypass when needed.
