Parksons UK24C Concert Ukulele
The Parksons UK24C is a four-string concert ukulele: a body slightly larger than a soprano's gives a louder, fuller sound and a roomier neck for the fingers. The model's key advantage is a solid spruce top that responds to the lightest touch and sounds livelier than all-laminate instruments. A mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and 18 frets make the UK24C comfortable for first chords and melodic fingerpicking alike. The finish is natural satin: the light spruce top with multi-ply binding and a carved rosette contrasts with the warm tone of the mahogany.

Solid Spruce Top: A Responsive Voice
The solid spruce top vibrates more freely than a laminate one, so the ukulele sounds louder, with a bright attack and a clear melodic line. You hear it most in quiet fingerpicking: every note is distinct and chords never blur together. The concert size adds volume to the body and room between the frets: it is easier on the fingers than a soprano, making the step from first chords to more complex arrangements smoother.
Mahogany and Rosewood: A Warm Balance
Laminated mahogany back and sides add warmth and a solid midrange, balancing the brightness of the spruce. A laminate body is also less sensitive to humidity swings — a practical advantage for an instrument that travels often. The rosewood bridge and fingerboard complete a classic tonewood pairing for a concert ukulele.
Neck, Frets and Tuners
The mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and dot markers has 18 frets — plenty for accompaniment and for melodies in higher positions. Die-cast chrome tuners on the Parksons-branded headstock provide precise tuning. A simple, tidy design without extra decoration — an instrument you want to pick up every day.
