Parksons UK24KOS Concert ukulele
The Parksons UK24KOS is a concert ukulele whose top, back and sides are all made of solid koa — the traditional Hawaiian tonewood for ukuleles. The concert size gives your fingers more room than a soprano while keeping the compact feel that makes the ukulele so appealing. Ergonomics are carefully thought out: an arched back and a forearm bevel keep you comfortable even through long sessions. Natural abalone binding around the body and rosette, plus vintage-style open-gear tuners, underline the model's character. The natural satin finish lets the vivid striped koa grain show through.

An All-Solid Koa Body
All three parts of the body — top, back and sides — are solid koa, not laminate. Solid wood resonates more freely, so the sound is lively and full, with a sensitive response to dynamics: from a gentle fingerpicked line to an accented strum. Koa is the classic ukulele choice, delivering a warm, singing tone and a figure that is unique to every instrument. For a player who has outgrown a laminate first ukulele, this is the logical next step.
Arched Back and Forearm Bevel
The UK24KOS body is designed with ergonomics in mind: the arched back sits comfortably against your body, while the forearm bevel removes the sharp edge of the side from under your strumming arm. Your arm stays relaxed, so long rehearsals and gig sets are less tiring and your attention stays on the music. It is a feature more often found on pricier instruments, and you feel the difference in everyday playing right away.
Neck, Hardware and Trim
The mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and wooden position markers feels smooth and stable, and the rosewood bridge anchors the strings securely. The slotted headstock carries vintage-style open-gear chrome tuners that look elegant and hold tuning well. Figured natural abalone binding around the body and soundhole protects the edges and adds a refined touch.

Who It's For
The UK24KOS is for the musician who wants the genuine sound of solid koa: the ukulele player who has outgrown a laminate instrument and is after a warm, lively tone, the fingerstyle arranger for whom dynamics matter, and the lover of beautiful tonewood who cares about an instrument's looks as much as its voice.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the UK24KOS special?
Its all-solid acacia koa body: the top, back and sides are solid wood rather than laminate. The sound is lively, full and responsive to dynamics.
What size is this ukulele?
Concert: the neck gives your fingers more room than a soprano, while the instrument stays just as compact. Four strings and a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard.
Why an arched back and a forearm bevel?
They make the body ergonomic: the ukulele sits comfortably against you, and your strumming arm does not press on a sharp edge during long sessions.
How does the UK24KOS differ from other Parksons concert ukuleles?
It has an all-solid koa body and abalone trim — the UK24Z, for example, has only a solid spruce top. There is also a UK24KOS-E version with a Skysonic piezo pickup. See other PARKSONS instruments.
