Wireless system for vocals and speech
The AKG PW45 Vocal Set ISM combines an HT45 handheld microphone transmitter with an SR45 receiver. It carries your voice to a mixing console or other compatible audio equipment without a cable between the microphone and receiver. The dynamic microphone has a cardioid pickup pattern. The HT45 provides on, mute and off switching, a low-battery indicator and a High/Low gain setting.
ISM frequencies and audio connections
This version offers four selectable frequencies within 863.100–864.900 MHz. Matching channels are selected manually on the transmitter and receiver. The SR45 uses space diversity reception with integrated antennas. Output-level and squelch controls help you set up the signal for the connected equipment, while RF and Clip indicators show radio reception and overload.
The receiver provides a balanced three-pin XLR output and an unbalanced mono 6.35 mm output. Use one of these connections at a time; the manual does not permit simultaneous use of both audio outputs.
Power and supplied components
- AKG HT45 handheld microphone transmitter.
- AKG SR45 receiver with power supply.
- SA45 microphone stand adapter.
- One AA battery.
The HT45 runs on one AA battery or a suitable rechargeable equivalent. The receiver uses the supplied mains adapter. During setup, check that both devices use the same channel and adjust the output level to suit the mixer input.
