the t.bone free2b is a compact digital wireless system for a dynamic microphone or line source. One transmitter and one receiver form a mono audio link, connecting a suitable source to a mixer or other equipment with a compatible input.
XLR connections
The transmitter has a female XLR input and the receiver has a male XLR output for direct connection to matching sockets. For microphone use, choose a dynamic microphone: the system supplies no phantom power. Check the connected equipment’s level settings when working with a line source.
One mono audio link
free2b carries 24-bit / 44.1 kHz digital audio at 2.4 GHz. Automatic pairing and six channel groups are provided. Each pair transmits one mono signal. The supplied 3.5 mm TRS adapter cable connects to a suitable input; it does not make the wireless link stereo.
Batteries and charging
Both units have built-in rechargeable batteries and Micro-USB charging ports. The manufacturer specifies approximately seven hours of operation and three hours for charging. Indicators help show unit status. Charge the pair and check reception in its working position before use.
Included equipment
The set contains a free2b transmitter, receiver, USB charging cable and XLR-to-3.5 mm audio cable. The audio cable connects the receiver to a compatible device input. Choose a microphone and USB power source separately to suit your application.
