AKG C414 XLS Matched Pair — a matched stereo set for professional recording
The AKG C414 XLS Matched Pair combines two selected multi-pattern condenser microphones with closely matched performance. The set delivers consistent stereo imaging for piano, string ensembles, choirs, brass and woodwinds, drum overheads and acoustic instruments.
Each C414 XLS retains the neutral, linear character of the renowned C414 B-ULS. Nine selectable pattern settings cover omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid, figure-eight and intermediate positions. Switchable −6/−12/−18 dB pads and 40/80/160 Hz bass-cut filters adapt the microphones to loud sources, vibration and proximity effect.
