A mixer for conversations and music streams
Yamaha AG06MK2 in Black mixes two microphones with music from line-level sources. This six-channel mixer includes a 2-in/2-out USB audio interface for Mac and Windows, making it suitable for interviews, podcasts, vocal duets and home recording.
Inputs and effects
- Channels 1–2: XLR/1/4-inch combo inputs with 48 V phantom power; channel 2 offers a Hi-Z guitar mode.
- Channels 3/4: stereo jack line inputs; channels 5/6: stereo RCA inputs.
- 3.5 mm TRRS for analogue smartphone audio input/output.
- Onboard COMP/EQ, SPX Reverb and amp simulation, configured using AG Controller.
Routing and monitoring
DRY CH 1-2, INPUT MIX and LOOPBACK determine the USB feed. Loopback includes computer playback in the stream. Resolution reaches 24-bit/192 kHz; USB carries two channels, so the six analogue inputs do not provide six separate USB tracks.
Stereo Out, Monitor Out and headphone monitoring are available. The headset microphone replaces the channel 1 microphone input; PHONES and HEADSET PHONES outputs cannot be used simultaneously.
Power requires 5 V at 900 mA or more. Dimensions are 152 × 63 × 201 mm; weight is 0.9 kg. iOS requires a suitable adapter and external USB power.
