Fender American Ultra Telecaster (Cobra Blue) is a 6-string electric guitar with a 648 mm scale and 22 frets.
This version combines a Cobra Blue finish, 2 × Ultra Noiseless Vintage Tele pickups and a Six-Saddle American Tele / Chromed Brass Saddles bridge. It supports rhythm parts, melodies and technique practice; your amplifier and picking approach also shape the final sound.

American Ultra Telecaster in detail
The first-generation American Ultra Telecaster features a Modern D profile, a 10–14-inch compound radius and rolled fingerboard edges. Ultra Noiseless Vintage pickups reduce hum, while the S-1 button expands the two pickups’ switching options. Body contours and the neck heel improve upper-register access. Six chromed-brass saddles and locking tuners provide contemporary hardware. This maple-board Cobra Blue version includes an Elite Molded Case and suits stage work where comfort and quick sound changes matter.
Construction and playing feel
Body: Alder. Neck: Maple. Fingerboard: Maple. The 648 mm scale is paired with 22 frets and a 42.8 mm nut width. The Modern D profile describes the shape of the back of the neck.
The 254–355.6 mm fingerboard radius describes its crosswise curvature. This compound radius becomes flatter towards the upper frets. Consider the radius together with the neck profile, action and your approach to bending strings.
Pickups and controls
The 2 × Ultra Noiseless Vintage Tele system uses a SS layout. Controls: Master Volume (S-1) / Master Tone. The selector provides 3 positions.
The single-coil pickups provide a clear attack and articulate rhythmic accents. The neck position suits rounded melodic phrases, while the bridge position gives a brighter rhythm sound. The tone control lets you soften high frequencies without changing the amplifier.

Bridge and maintenance
The fixed Six-Saddle American Tele / Chromed Brass Saddles bridge suits riff work and lead playing without an arm. Stretch new strings before final tuning, and check intonation and neck relief after a gauge change. Set intonation in your intended tuning.
The hardware includes Deluxe Cast / Sealed Locking tuners. Factory string gauge: .009–.042. Wiping the strings and hardware after playing helps maintain the instrument.
