Fender MIJ Traditional II 51 Nocaster FSR (Butterscotch Blonde) is a 6-string electric guitar with a 648 mm scale and 21 frets.
This version combines a Butterscotch Blonde finish, 2 × Custom Shop 51 Nocaster pickups and a Three Brass Barrel Saddles / String-Through-Body bridge. It supports rhythm parts, melodies and technique practice; your amplifier and picking approach also shape the final sound.

MIJ Traditional II 51 Nocaster FSR in detail
This limited Japanese Nocaster combines an ash body, black pickguard and Custom Shop 51 Nocaster pickups. The pickup name does not mean the complete instrument was built by the American Custom Shop. A U profile, narrow 41.02 mm nut and 7.25-inch radius follow early T-style ergonomics. Brass saddles and through-body stringing maintain the classic construction. Straightforward controls make it easy to alternate between bridge attack, warmer neck sounds and both pickups together.
Construction and playing feel
Body: Ash. Neck: Maple. Fingerboard: Maple. The 648 mm scale is paired with 21 frets and a 41.02 mm nut width. The U profile describes the shape of the back of the neck.
The 184.1 mm fingerboard radius describes its crosswise curvature. Consider the radius together with the neck profile, action and your approach to bending strings.
Pickups and controls
The 2 × Custom Shop 51 Nocaster system uses a SS layout. Controls: Master Volume / Master Tone. The selector provides 3 positions.
The single-coil pickups provide a clear attack and articulate rhythmic accents. The neck position suits rounded melodic phrases, while the bridge position gives a brighter rhythm sound. The tone control lets you soften high frequencies without changing the amplifier.
Bridge and maintenance
The fixed Three Brass Barrel Saddles / String-Through-Body bridge suits riff work and lead playing without an arm. Stretch new strings before final tuning, and check intonation and neck relief after a gauge change. Set intonation in your intended tuning.
The hardware includes Vintage-Style tuners. Wiping the strings and hardware after playing helps maintain the instrument.
