Floor placement for stage and rehearsal
The Gator Frameworks GFW-MIC-2010 supports a microphone from the floor during performances, rehearsals and recording. Its single-section boom moves the microphone away from the upright, making it useful for vocals and instrument placement. This arrangement helps you find a practical working position while leaving space directly in front of the performer or instrument.
A folding tripod foundation
The three-legged base opens for use and folds for transport. Steel construction is combined with non-slip feet, while removable red trim makes the ends of the legs easier to identify on stage. Open the base fully before mounting equipment and choose a level position that leaves room for performers to move and cables to pass.
Adjust the height and boom position
A soft-grip twist clutch adjusts the upright height. The separate boom joint allows its angle and position to be set relative to the stand, helping you reach the required microphone position without shifting the whole base for every small adjustment. Check that the controls are secure after setup, particularly when changing microphone positions between performances.
Mount the holder and organise the cable
The boom ends in a threaded mount for a compatible microphone holder. Select the holder to match both the microphone and the stand connection. Included cable clips help guide the cable along the upright and boom, with enough slack left near the microphone. The GFW-MIC-2010 suits setups needing a floor tripod and independently adjustable boom positioning.
