Stage and studio positioning
The Gator Frameworks GFW-MIC-2020 is a floor microphone stand with a telescoping boom for vocals, speech and instrument recording. Its adjustable upright and extending arm help position the microphone around the performer’s workspace. The tripod can stand away from the pickup point while the boom brings the microphone towards the singer or instrument.
Independent adjustments
A soft-grip twist clutch controls the height of the upright. Boom angle and telescoping extension adjust separately, allowing the reach to change without moving the base. This arrangement helps place the microphone over the working area while keeping space in front of the performer. Tighten the locks after choosing the height, angle and extension.
Steel and folding legs
Steel construction is combined with a collapsible tripod base. Foot caps help resist slipping, while removable red trim makes the leg ends more visible on the floor. The legs fold along the upright, and the boom can lie alongside it for transport. Spread the legs and check stability with the microphone in its working position.
Cable routing and mounting
Included cable clips guide the cable along the stand while leaving slack near the microphone. A threaded fitting at the boom end accepts a compatible microphone holder. The package comprises the stand with its telescoping boom and cable clips. Choose the microphone, its holder and audio cable separately, checking microphone-body and mounting-thread compatibility before assembly.
