Position the microphone for your session
The Gator Frameworks GFWMICBCBM4000 is a desktop microphone boom for podcasts, broadcasting and voice recording. Its spring-loaded articulated arm brings the microphone towards the presenter and lets you adjust its position around the workspace. It supports a load of up to 2 kg, with a tension screw for adjusting the arm to the fitted equipment.
A manually controlled visual signal
The LED ring sits near the microphone mounting point and offers red, blue or violet light. An inline controller switches it on and off, changes the colour and adjusts brightness. You can use an agreed colour to mark the start of a session. USB supplies power to the lighting, while its operation remains under the presenter’s control.
Included cables and mounting extension
A removable XLR microphone cable approximately 3 m long is included. A fixed USB cable with its controller powers the ring and runs inside the structure. Cable routing helps organise connections along the arm. The 76 mm extension with a 5/8″–27 microphone thread provides additional clearance around the microphone connector for cable positioning.
Choose your desk mounting arrangement
The package provides a desk-edge clamp kit and a separate kit for mounting through a hole in the desktop. Choose the arrangement appropriate to your working surface. The arm rotates through 360° for positioning from either side. Plan the microphone location, access to the lighting controller and cable route to your audio equipment before installation.
