Saga ST-10 (Unfinished) is an electric guitar assembly kit.
Saga is supplied as a parts kit for a hands-on project. The body and neck are prepared, but the instrument requires assembly, finishing and final setup. TC-10 uses a T-style body and two single coils; ST-10 uses an S-style body and three single coils. LC-10 combines a single-cut maple-topped body with humbuckers, while HT-10 has a double-cut figured-maple-topped body and humbuckers. Choose the shape and electronics for your intended instrument; the title and table identify the specific kit on this page.

The instrument you will build
Body: Basswood. Neck: Maple. Fingerboard: Rosewood. Neck joint: Bolt-On. Frets: 21. Scale length: 648 mm.
Before finishing, dry-fit the main parts and check the neck fit, hole alignment and string paths relative to the fingerboard edges. Do not rush the final tightening of fasteners. Choose finishing products, abrasives and tools separately to suit the result you want. Once the finish has cured, install the hardware, connect the supplied electronics and complete the setup. Those stages determine when the instrument is ready to play.
Pickups and controls
Pickups: 3 × Single-Coil. Pickup layout: SSS.
Start exploring the sound through a clean channel. Play the same phrase in different pickup positions and compare the attack and frequency balance, then add mild crunch or an effect. This approach helps you choose rhythm and lead sounds without masking their differences with excessive gain. Strings, picks, the amplifier and your picking technique also shape the final result.
Assembly and final setup
After fitting the supplied bridge and strings, check neck relief, action and notes across the fingerboard. Then set intonation and pickup height. A test connection lets you check each control and the selector. This kit suits someone interested in instrument construction and hands-on work; if you need a guitar to play immediately after purchase, choose an assembled model.
