A microphone at your desk
The HL Audio DM-38 is a desktop stand for conversations, voice recording, online meetings and rehearsals. Its upright construction sits directly on a table, leaving your hands free for notes or other equipment. It suits a setup where the microphone needs to stand in front of the user without a separate floor stand beside the workspace.
Adjustable upright height
The DM-38 adjusts from 270 to 380 mm in height. An inner section extends from the upright tube, and a side lock secures the chosen position. This helps accommodate the desk height and the user’s seated position. Check the lock after adjusting, and move the whole stand on the desktop to set the required speaking distance.
Round base and steel construction
The stand uses steel construction, a round base measuring 130 mm across and a stated weight of 800 g. This compact footprint helps you plan the space between a keyboard, notes and other items. Place the complete base on a level surface and check stability with your particular microphone fitted before recording or starting a broadcast.
Holder and cable placement
A compatible holder supports the microphone at the top of the stand. Match its threaded connection and microphone grip to your equipment. Leave enough cable slack at the connector so the cable does not pull the stand towards the desk edge. The DM-38 provides mechanical support; signal connections and recording level are handled by your audio equipment.
