Position the microphone above your desk
The HL Audio NB-35 is a desktop microphone arm for voice recording, video calls, podcasts and home broadcasts. It clamps to the edge of a desk while its articulated arm brings the microphone towards the user. This arrangement leaves more space immediately in front of a keyboard or notes and adapts to different working positions.
Folding steel arm
Its steel frame has two jointed sections with exposed springs. The design allows changes to microphone height and angle, then folds for storage or transport. Adjust the sections together with the end attachment to aim the microphone towards your voice while keeping the monitor and essential controls accessible. The working position depends on your particular desk arrangement.
Desk-edge clamp
A screw clamp provides a maximum opening of 47 mm. Before mounting, check the thickness and shape of the desktop edge and access to its underside. Choose a position where the clamp can tighten firmly against the surface. Allow enough clear space for both arm sections to move and for the microphone cable to follow them.
Included holder and microphone load
The NB-35 includes a microphone holder and has a stated maximum microphone weight of 1 kg. Check that the holder fits your microphone body, then secure the adjustments and confirm that the selected position remains steady. Leave cable slack for arm movement. If fitting a different mount, check its thread compatibility with the arm first.
