A pair for stereo recording
Alpha Audio MIC Studio S provides two small-diaphragm condenser microphones for stereo recording. The set suits acoustic instruments, choirs and studio work. Separate microphones let you choose their positions relative to the sound source, adjusting the spatial picture of the recording instead of working with two capsules fixed inside one housing.
Interchangeable capsules and placement
The microphones use interchangeable capsules so that the configuration can be selected for the recording task. The included stereo bar holds both microphones together and supports placement for an A/B arrangement. Compare several positions by ear: the distance from the instrument and the spacing between microphones affect the balance of direct sound and room acoustics.
Power and connection
Frequency response extends from 30 Hz to 18 kHz. The microphones require 48 V phantom power and connect through three-pin XLR connectors. Prepare two suitable microphone inputs on a mixer or audio interface for stereo recording. Set each channel gain for its incoming level and listen to both channels together before starting the session.
Mounting and storage accessories
The package includes two microphones with interchangeable capsules, holders, a stereo bar, windscreens and an aluminium case. The holders secure the microphones in the chosen position, while the case keeps the kit together during transport and storage. Select XLR cables, a microphone stand and recording equipment separately to suit the workspace and connection distance.
