LTD ALEXI HEXED is a 6-string electric guitar with a 25.5" scale and 24 frets. Its design combines Neck-Thru construction, EMG HZ FH-2 Black pickups and a Floyd Rose 1000 bridge.

This model suits a guitarist choosing an instrument for its particular electronics and playing feel. It supports rhythm and lead work, while amplification, effects and picking technique let you adapt the sound for rehearsals, recording sessions or live performance.

When choosing this guitar, consider the combination of Neck-Thru construction and its Floyd Rose 1000 bridge. These features affect upper-fret access, string replacement and the availability of vibrato-arm techniques. Compare this setup with your usual instrument, especially when changing neck construction or moving to a different scale length.

Body, neck and playing geometry

Body material: Alder. Neck: 3Pc Maple. Fingerboard: Macassar Ebony. The Thin U profile describes the shape of the back of the neck.

24 frets provide the playing range for chords, riffs and melodic lead lines. Scale length affects tension at the same string gauge and tuning. Before an extended playing session, choose a comfortable action and check the instrument’s intonation.

Pickups and controls

The bridge position uses EMG HZ FH-2 Black. This is a single-pickup design focused on the bridge sound. Controls: Volume.

Passive pickups respond to the guitar’s volume setting, picking strength and amplifier setup. Start with moderate gain and add distortion gradually while retaining clear chord definition.

Bridge and practical use

The Floyd Rose 1000 bridge is paired with Grover tuners. The tremolo allows pitch changes with the vibrato arm. After changing gauges or tuning, check the balance between spring and string tension. Follow the procedure for this bridge type when replacing strings.

Connect the instrument with an instrument cable and a guitar amplifier. Effects pedals can add delay, reverb or a different overdrive character. A tuner, spare strings and a strap are useful for regular practice. Choose a suitable stand or hanger for storage.
