Position a microphone around the performer
The Fonestar MS-131N is a floor microphone stand with an adjustable boom arm. The boom places the microphone away from the upright tube, making it easier to reach a performer or sound source. It suits live performances, conferences and houses of worship where the microphone position needs to work around people, instruments or furniture.
Height and boom adjustment
Height adjusts from 100 to 155 cm, measured to the boom when it is horizontal. The final microphone position also depends on the boom angle and the selected microphone holder. Adjust the stand for the user, secure the joints and check the speaking or playing position. Small aiming adjustments can then be made at the boom without relocating the entire base.
Folding tripod construction
The three legs fold for transport and spread out for use. A metal-reinforced base supports the stand, and its black finish fits typical stage equipment. At 1.5 kg, the stand is convenient to move between locations. Fully extend the legs and position them with room for people and cables around the microphone location.
Threaded mounting interface
A standard 3/8-inch thread and a supplied 5/8-inch adapter allow connection of a compatible microphone holder. Select the holder for the particular microphone. Before use, check that the connections are secure and the cable does not pull against the chosen position.
