PRS S2 Custom 24-08 (Lake Blue). This S2 Custom 24-08 version uses American-made TCI pickups and two EQ mini-switches. They engage tuned high-pass filters to reduce low-end weight and reveal more attack. A Pattern Thin neck, 24 frets and a tremolo complement a control system suited to layered arrangements and studio work.
Body and neck

Pickups and controls
Treble Pickup: TCI; Bass Pickup: TCI.
Volume, Tone, 3-way toggle, 2 EQ mini-switches.
Each EQ mini-switch engages its pickup’s filter in the up position. Reducing low-frequency weight can leave more space for bass and keyboards. The main toggle selects either TCI pickup or both; Volume and Tone set the level and overall treble balance.
Bridge and hardware
PRS Patented Tremolo. Tuners: PRS Phase III Locking Tuners w/ Wing Buttons.
The tremolo adds vibrato to chords and melodies. Smooth arm use, a properly functioning nut and correctly installed strings help it return to pitch. Check spring balance and intonation after changing gauges. Locking tuners, where fitted, simplify securing the string to its post.
