Single-section boom stand
The Soundking DD007B is a floor microphone stand with an 800 mm single-section boom. It brings the microphone forward from the upright support, helping you position it beside a performer or instrument. Its black finish suits a stage, rehearsal room or home recording space. The steel structure combines with a metal base and three supporting legs.
Adjusting the working position
The telescoping upright lets you set the height for the recording or performance position. The boom slides through its holder, while the pivot joint provides angle adjustment. Together, these settings help aim the microphone while keeping the upright to one side of the performer. Secure the joints after adjustment and check that the chosen position is comfortable to use.
Removable boom and folding base
You can remove the boom and use the DD007B as a straight microphone stand. This is useful when another performance calls for a vertical microphone position without forward reach. The three legs spread for use and fold alongside the upright for carrying. The metal base has a locking knob, and the leg end caps form the contact points with the floor.
Cable routing and microphone mounting
Included cable clips help route the microphone cable along the stand. A threaded attachment at the boom tip accepts a suitable microphone holder. Select a holder for your microphone and check thread compatibility. Leave some cable slack near the adjustable joints so changes in height or angle do not place the cable under tension.
