Close placement beside an instrument
The Soundking DD035B is a short floor stand for placing a microphone near an instrument or speaker cabinet. Its low upright suits sound sources positioned close to the floor. The boom brings the microphone to the required point while keeping the base to one side, helping organise space around drums, a guitar cabinet or other equipment.
Telescoping boom adjustment
Boom length adjusts from 530 to 910 mm, and the specified stand height is 540 mm. Separate controls set the extension and angle of the arm. Position the base first, move the microphone towards the sound source and secure the working position. This allows changes in microphone distance without rearranging the surrounding equipment.
Three-legged support
The steel construction uses a reinforced metal base with three legs. Its black finish suits stage and recording environments. Place the legs on a level surface and check the balance with your chosen microphone installed. Set the boom position so the performer retains comfortable access to the instrument and nearby equipment during use.
Cable routing and attachment
Cable clips are included with the DD035B to keep the microphone cable arranged along the stand. Leave enough slack beside the microphone to avoid pulling on its connector when changing the angle. Prepare a suitable microphone holder and check its thread against the arm attachment. Before recording, check the adjustment locks and the cable position around the stand.
