A floor stand for microphone placement
Soundking DD130 combines a tripod microphone stand with a single-section boom. It lets you position a microphone in front of a singer, beside an instrument or within a recording area while choosing a suitable location for the base. The boom reaches away from the upright, leaving space directly below the microphone available for the performer or equipment.
Height and boom adjustment
The stand adjusts from 1000 to 1700 mm in height and has an 800 mm boom. Its telescopic upright sets the working height, while the upper joint changes the boom angle. Together, these adjustments help arrange the microphone for different working positions. Secure the relevant controls after changing the height or angle and before recording or performing.
Construction and folding base
The DD130 uses steel and plastic components with a simple three-legged base. The legs fold alongside the upright for carrying and storage. At 1.8 kg, the stand is suitable for equipment setups that involve moving microphones between positions. Its black finish works well in rehearsal rooms, home studios and on stage.
Setting up your microphone
A threaded mounting point at the end of the boom accepts an appropriate microphone holder. Choose the holder to suit both the mounting point and your microphone. Fully spread the tripod before use and route the cable so it does not pull the boom sideways. Moving the base and adjusting the boom together gives you more control over the final microphone position.
