A low stand for desktop use
The Superlux DS01 supports a microphone on a desk through a compatible microphone holder. Its compact format suits spoken recordings, online meetings, rehearsals and other applications that call for a microphone beside the user. The low structure provides a dedicated mounting point on the work surface while keeping the area above it available for a screen, notes or equipment.
Three points of support
Three metal legs extend from the central plastic base, with protective tips at their ends. This arrangement provides three points of contact on a level surface. The black finish fits naturally alongside microphone equipment. Leave sufficient space around the base when positioning the stand so that each leg rests directly on the desktop.
A 5/8″ mounting thread
A 5/8″ male thread at the top accepts a corresponding microphone holder. Select the holder to match both this thread and the shape of your microphone: the stand provides the support, while the holder secures the microphone itself. Check the connection and microphone direction after assembly to establish a comfortable recording position.
Setting up the recording position
Place the DS01 near the intended recording position and allow enough cable slack to avoid pulling the small base sideways. Moving the stand across the desk and adjusting a compatible holder lets you direct the microphone towards the source. This straightforward mechanical accessory provides a compact foundation for a desktop microphone setup.
