Position your microphone at desk height
The Superlux HM6 is a compact desktop microphone stand with an adjustable central post. It lets you adapt the microphone position to a seated workspace for presentations, voice recording or conversation. Adjusting the height complements moving the base across the desk, helping you establish a comfortable position in front of the speaker.
A folding tripod base
The die-cast zinc-alloy base has three legs that fold alongside the stand. Soft rubber pads help reduce sliding on the desktop. The chrome-plated central post moves through the height adjustment mechanism, with a lock holding the selected position. This combination provides a compact support that can be cleared from the workspace after recording.
Holder and threaded adapter included
The package contains a microphone holder and a threaded adapter alongside the stand. The adapter has a 5/8″ male thread and a 3/8″ female thread for matching the corresponding mounts. The holder allows microphone angle adjustment. Check the microphone body shape and diameter against the holder before fitting it to establish a secure connection.
Preparing the stand for use
Open all three legs on a level surface, adjust the height and secure the lock. Set the holder angle towards the sound source, leaving enough cable slack beside the stand to avoid pulling the base out of position. Remove the microphone before folding the legs for transport or storage between sessions.
