Phantom power for one channel
The Xvive P1 supplies phantom power to a compatible condenser microphone in a recording or sound reinforcement setup. It is useful when a mixer or recorder cannot provide the required microphone power. Its internal rechargeable battery makes it a practical companion for location recording, rehearsals and performances with your own microphone and cables.
Voltage selection and connections
Select 12 V or 48 V using the switch on the body, according to your microphone’s requirements. The P1 provides a balanced three-pin female XLR input and male XLR output. Connect the microphone to its input, then route the output to the microphone input of your mixer or recording equipment.
Battery and charging
The internal lithium-ion battery charges through a Micro USB-B port using a 5 V USB source rated for at least 1 A. LED indicators help you monitor the remaining charge during use. The P1 can also operate while charging, providing another option for longer sessions near an available USB power source.
Preparing your setup
Check the selected voltage, battery charge and cable connections, then make a short test recording before starting. Switch the P1 off and wait five seconds before disconnecting a microphone or XLR cable. Its compact metal body has rubber feet for placement beside your equipment. This offer concerns the P1 supply with its internal battery; select other equipment for your particular setup.
